The Undercover Dream Lovers- Its all in your head
Matt Koenig, the man behind the Psychedelic indie rock one-man band has officially released his debut album titled “Its All In Your Head”. The album incorporates groovy rock sounds with relatively warm and bubbly lyricism for the most part, while songs like “Up All Night” and “Prisoner of Love” hold blue and dreamlike influences. The Undercover Dream Lovers just announced their upcoming US tour alongside Portland based indie band STRFKR.
Five Finger Death Punch - F8
Nevada’s own favorite heavy metal band just dropped their eighth studio album. The band has been making waves in the metal scene since 2005 with no sign of stopping anytime soon. The album itself carries through the classic hard rifs and breakdowns we are used to hearing, while songs like “Brighter Side of Grey” showcase the bands diversity with cooler and lower tones and much softer lyrics. FFDP just finished their European tour with the intention to hit stateside cities starting early April.
Disclosure - Ecstasy EP
Brothers, Guy and Howard Lawrence, who make up the Grammy award winning electronic music duo EDM fans know as “Disclosure” have released their newest EP. The 5 track project contains sounds of many influence, Cameroonian artist Eko Roosevelt joins disclosure in their song “Tondo” giving it a true smooth African vibe. All while the opening song “Ecstasy” still holds true to Disclosure’s famous House style. The artists have been hinting towards the release of even more new music in the coming weeks on their instagram.
Glacier Veins - The World you Want to See
Female-fronted Portland band Glacier Veins and their debut full length album are hitting the Alternative music scene hard today. The Dream-Punk trio are becoming a household name in the Alt rock scene with their modern emo lyricism and shoegaze sound. The Band are set to head out with Have Mercy in March on their US tour.
Lil Baby - My Turn
Lil Baby, the hip hop worlds latest heartthrob has come in swinging with his sophomore album with the support of numerous popular mixtapes and singles. The Atlanta born Trap star is known for his successful collabs with huge artists such as Gunna and Dababy. The Quality Control artist is gaining quick traction in the rap scene, with catchy and well-delivered lyrics alongside hitting beats it’s easy to see why.
